Cate Pearce was raised in a fundamentalist homeschool community on a Christmas tree farm. She came out as LGBTQ+ at age 16 and has reconciled her identity with her Christian faith, still healing from religious trauma. She has been writing all her life; fanfiction, academic, technical…but fantasy and sci-fi have always been her true passion.
